Majorette Is Really Opening Doors With Their Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

Majorette is really opening doors with their Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat! From the Realistic Headlights to the Taillights & Silver Dodge Lettering on the rear this Series 1 Challenger is a force to be reckoned with. Opening Doors!! Opening Doors!! I had to say it at least once for each door. This and the striped version have been making my day since I received them.

Let me start right off with those opening doors with side mirrors. I have about 800 Challengers about 3” long. Not counting Customs, Reproductions, Color Variants, and Duplicates only a handful are equipped with side mirrors. Even fewer have opening doors. I may have to go check about 800 Challengers real quick – but I am pretty sure that none of the others have opening doors with side mirrors. That makes this Challenger extremely unique in my collection. The doors don’t just open either. The hinges are solid and heavy duty and make opening and closing them a joy. The silver trim on the inside of the doorframe is a very nice detail and frames the door perfectly.

Those who ‘test drive’ their die cast with a quick pushdown test of the shocks will not be disappointed here! It may not seem like a big deal but on a Driftpad or Hot Wheels track you can see they work like the real thing. This car performs just as well on the track as it does at a car show. Majorette raises the bar high with this release!

Majorette’s SRT Hellcat Challenger wins Best in its price range and a whole lot more. I could not wait for mine to come to me but now Majorette is in stores across the U.S. and opening doors in many ways. That’s my Dodge, Majorette, Challenger of the Day!

2010 Dodge Challenger SRT

It is with great pleasure to bring you the latest Challenger of the Day story.

This is a story written and submitted by Laurie Trummer.

We bought a 2015 Dodge Challenger Shaker in June 2015. In July 2016 my husband took his truck in for hail damage repair to the Dodge dealership where we purchase our cars and he saw this purple Challenger SRT that caught his eye. He came home and made the mistake of showing me the pictures and the price of this car. The next day I went out and test drove it. I couldn't get the car out of my mind after the test drive and I said I have to have this car so I took it in to a mechanic for inspection, it passed with flying colors and got all A pluses and I bought my own Challenger to accompany our other Challenger. We now have the best looking garage in our neighborhood.

Chasing My Dream Car for 30 Years

This next Challenger story is one that has been 30 years in the making. I hope you all enjoy this next story by Dave Lawrence and his dream that took 30 years to become a reality...

This is a story written by Dave Lawrence

In the early 1980s I chased a Hemi Orange 1970 Challenger T/A. For years I tried to purchase it, but it never happened. I had other rare Mopars throughout the years including a 440-6 Superbird and my 1970 Cuda 440 (highly optioned). So in 2013 I decided to purchase a modern Challenger. I knew what I wanted, in fact I bought the T/A hood before I found the car. I found a 2009 R/T Inferno Red Pearl stripe delete plain looking but that color. 3 days after purchasing the car with 14 thousand miles on it I tore it apart. I had Jon Bond Performance rebuild a Techco Twin Screw Supercharger. I polished the intake tube the drive snout and front cover and had the runners powder coated candy apple red pearl. I purchased a Saleen Hi Downforce rear spoiler and painted it, the T/A hood and front fascia satin black. The reproduction T/A stripes in my opinion didn't match the new body style so I had custom stripes made with custom fender call outs that say Blown Hemi. So 30 years in the making I introduce to you my modern T/A Challenger

Cruisin' the Hudson Valley.

It is with great pleasure to bring you this next Challenger of the Day story. Rich M. loves cars and the good memories they bring. He brings car lovers together from all over the car spectrum and is driven to make others smile. We've shared a lot of laughs and smiles together and I look forward to meeting and joining him in person on future car shows and cruises!

Please enjoy this next story by Rich M.

We are 3rd and 4th generation car guys who travel all over the Hudson Valley NY and Catskills to meet people, take pictures and their cars. We like taking day trips to car events so much, we built our own site that lists and tracks car shows. We hope our site encourages new people to bring their cars out or attend a cruise or show in their area.

The CruiseHV ride of choice is a 2016 Dodge Challenger Go Mango RT Shaker. We like the retro look of the Challenger! The car is one of fifteen for the year 2016 in that paint and configuration. We chose a late model car so we can get in and go longer distances with lots of space and modern comfort.

The first thing people notice about the car is the color. Its bright orange! Halloween has always been my favorite Holiday. So I own a glowing Orange car; as bright as the headless horsemen’s head! The color has metal flake, and depending on the amount of sun and time of day, it can look red. Besides the color people notice the Shaker Hood. It's such a tribute to that vintage look. It’s also badged. When driving, it you see people watching the hood; pointing and mouthing the words S-H-A-K-E-R.
