Go On Green Johnny Lightning 1971 RT

Go On Green Johnny Lightning 1971 RT

Go On Green with this 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T released by Johnny Lightning in 2020 . The original casting is from 2004 and has held up very well. Leave all the details to Johnny Lightning from the shaker hood and Go-Wing rear spoiler, authentic Goodyear Polyglas tires with dog dish hub-cabs, to the 'GO ON GRN' rear license plate. This 1:64 scale diecast is a heavyweight featuring the legendary 440 Six Pack.

The 440 Six Pack was a powerhouse with a factory rated 390 horsepower. You couldn't get a bigger Chrysler big block than this! Opening the hood reveals that massive 440 cubic inch monster with the shaker hood package.

Goodyear tires were common on seventies muscle cars and pony cars alike. The raised white letters on the Polyglas were among the first available and the treads were also wider than most tires on the market.

In 1971 Dodge was pulling out all the stops with this awesome R/T and Johhny Lightning is still carrying the torch over fifty years later!

Auto World 1974 Dodge Challenger Rallye in Gold

Auto World strikes it rich with this Gold 1974 Dodge Challenge Rallye! The list of finely detailed featured on this model are almost too long to mention. Under the hood in multi-colors is the 360 V8 with a 4-barrel carburetor. In 1974 this was the Performance package and put out 245 horsepower with 320 lb. ft of torque. The black rubber bumperettes each added about 5 horsepower as well. Just kidding! Considered an eye sore by many enthusiasts I have to laugh at them. I was a 7-year-old kid in The Bronx when the '74 Challengers came out and I appreciate how these could save the chrome bumper from dings. Easier to replace the rubber than the whole bumper too. The front grille and taillight details are precise, and this model really fits nicely into dioramas. Auto World is great at making the most realistic diecast models and even the scale is "true 1:64". This is a 2023 release and available in Target, Walmart, Hobby Lobby and other stores that stock 1:64 scale diecast as well as autoworldstore.com. Do yourself a favor and pick up one of these vintage muscle classics before they wind up on Mecum or Barrett-Jackson!

Hot Wheels 1:64 Diecast 1970 Dodge Challenger 440 Shaker Yellow

This 100% Hot Wheels Dodge Challenger was released in 2000 and came in a four car set celebrating the 30th Anniversary of '70 Muscle Cars. 100% Hot Wheels details include chrome wheels, rubber tires, painted engine, painted base and an opening hood to display the 440 V8. Equipped with a beefy shaker, the weight of this model makes it feel extra special too. I don't have a lot of Hot Wheels Challengers with opening hoods like this and I'd love to see more. There is definitely some heavy metal clanging when you close this hood. The black side stripes with Challenger and R/T badges along with silver trim and chrome bumper really make this 1:64 model look larger than life.

JEGS COTD DODGE CHALLENGER

It is a great honor to present the Fastest Challenger of the Day ever: 'Go on ‫ ‪Yellow' with Jeg Coughlin Jr.’s 2010 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak! Please enjoy the COTD Story featuring breathtaking photos provided by JEGS Performance and a Driver Q&A with Jeg Jr.!

This Dodge Challenger gives a whole new meaning to 'Go on‪ Yellow'! With two wheels up in the air this is one Awesome Beast. As a kid I always wanted to catch some air like this. It’s breathtaking to see! From the first moment I saw the Team JEGS Drag Pak Dodge Challenger I knew I had to see more. There is only one thing cooler than a Dodge Challenger driving by and it’s when one is flying by with the front wheels off the ground!!

Let me tell you a little bit about the history of the Mopar Drag Pak Challenger. Jeg Coughlin Jr. actually drove one of the original two prototype Drag Pak Challengers for the final testing at the Milan Dragway 2008 Publicity event. The ‘Liquid Metal’ Challenger was serial#2008002. After 3 passes the Challenger was deemed ready for production. In 2009 Dodge built only 100 of these with 3 engine options (5.7, 5.9 and 6.1). Engine upgrades to the 2010 production would allow it to now compete in all Stock Eliminator classes.
