Nothing Speeds Up Recovery Better Than A 2015 Challenger RT Scat Pack

Every day brings new Challengers. At least that's how I heard it! And this Challenger of the Day is no different. Please enjoy reading about how this next Challenger helped Dan through his tough times and healing process.

This is a story written by Dan Oldham.

At the time I ordered my 2015 Challenger R/T Scat Pack, life wasn't going so well. I was going through a really rough time dealing with some major health issues and was in a 2.5 year long battle with my health insurance company. With stomach surgery in my immediate future, I really needed something positive to look forward to.

I'd never been a huge fan of the Challenger but the 2015 really struck a chord with me. I ordered one and as fate would have it, it showed up the same morning I was scheduled for a stomach surgery I'd waited over two years to get. Even though I couldn't drive it home, I had my wife drive me to the dealership the same day as surgery just so I could see it. The next day after surgery I was at the dealership first thing to drive my new baby home. It was just what I needed at the time for some inspiration and something to look forward to. Driving my new Challenger home was just what the doctor ordered. Yes, it was a painful drive home, but oh, was it worth it!

Angelina Dimova knows her cars and she knows how to drive them all too. She likes to Drift and do donuts whenever possible, and her 2023 Hellcat Redeye Widebody is the perfect vehicle to make it happen. Angelina has been driving Dodge Challengers for years. There’s something about the love of a Challenger owner for their vehicle that is unparalleled in this world. It’s kind of like the love you feel for a beloved pet. You would starve to feed it (gas!). You make sure it has regular checkups at the doctor (oil change, filter, tire rotations!). You go to sleep after you make sure all its needs are taken care of and you wake up ready to take it for a long walk (drive!). It takes a special car and a special person to understand this kind of love. Angelina is this person, and her passion is infectious. It’s no wonder she has over five hundred thousand Instagram followers and almost a million TikTok followers!

What do you like most about your Challenger?

“I love the fact it's a muscle car, I've always had a love for muscle cars, that's why I'm called Mopar girl. The interior is so nice and fitting even for a big person, but I've got a small body frame - so more room for me. “

COTD Street Freak Tribute Challenger

Check out this amazing Tribute Challenger and story by Glenn Merrill! Street Freaks is a modern muscle car with direct ties to the original Street Freaks Road Runner. Glenn's Street Freak Challenger started as a concept drawing before being turned into a reality. This award-winning show car is also well at home on the street and the strip.

“The whole inspiration for doing the Street Freak theme goes way back to the 70's. Street Freak graphics are a tribute to a 69 Road Runner I used to own and race years ago. The first car to carry the design was a 69 Road Runner that Jeff Scozarro did at his paint shop Jeff's Place in California. It was done as a project for the car magazines and was the 1st car to go solo on the cover of Hot Rod magazine. The car then traded owners for a bit and was left in Salt Lake City at a salvage yard since it had blown an engine. My boss at the time and his brother (Howard and Wayne Field) purchased the car, put an engine in it and raced it for 10 years. I graduated college and went to GM as a designer working in the Camaro Studio for interiors (Best job of my life). When I came back out to Utah, I traded my snowmobiles for the Street Freak Road Runner and raced it out of St. George for a few years. Because of family issues, the car was sold and last seen in California.

Go On Green Johnny Lightning 1971 RT

Go On Green with this 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T released by Johnny Lightning in 2020 . The original casting is from 2004 and has held up very well. Leave all the details to Johnny Lightning from the shaker hood and Go-Wing rear spoiler, authentic Goodyear Polyglas tires with dog dish hub-cabs, to the 'GO ON GRN' rear license plate. This 1:64 scale diecast is a heavyweight featuring the legendary 440 Six Pack.

The 440 Six Pack was a powerhouse with a factory rated 390 horsepower. You couldn't get a bigger Chrysler big block than this! Opening the hood reveals that massive 440 cubic inch monster with the shaker hood package.

Goodyear tires were common on seventies muscle cars and pony cars alike. The raised white letters on the Polyglas were among the first available and the treads were also wider than most tires on the market.

In 1971 Dodge was pulling out all the stops with this awesome R/T and Johhny Lightning is still carrying the torch over fifty years later!
